External Expansion Chamber, Dual Input Shaft, With 8-Lug Nuts & 4-Grade 8 mounting bolts.

WARRANTY INFORMATION:
1-year Warranty if not used with steel or plastic wheels. They must have air filled tires mounted for shock absorbtion.

This Gearbox is recommended by UMC (United Motion Components) the Manufacturer, for pivots up to 8-towers in length and operating on low sloping terrain.

Pivots with more than 8-towers or on medium to higher slopes (inclines) should use the UMC 740 UD (Ultra Duty) as it has heavier input shaft bearings.

All gearboxes are disassembled all the way down, all components (shafts, housings, gears, end caps, etc) are inspected, sandblasted
and are run through the parts washer before being reassembled with new gaskets, seals & any required replacement parts.

Input Shafts, Output Shafts & Bull Gears are an additional charge on customer rebuilds.

The Gearbox serial number is recorded for warranty purposes.

They are then tested for smooth function and then filled with 85/140 G-5 Gear Oil Lubricant.

They set for 2-3 days to determine if they have any lubricant leaks.

The 85/140 G-5 Gear Oil should be run for 1-season & then drained as a break-in oil.

After the 1st season oil is drained removing any metal fines, etc, the producer can add his lubricant of choice.

85/140 G-5 Gear Oil is a good option & for the best choice, We recommend Sprinklerlube 1200 or Hydrotex Pivot Gear oil.

Then they are primed with brown primer and then painted with our green paint.

When we assemble the wheel drives, we use all Grade 8 bolts and there are also 4 grade 8 mounting bolts with lock washers added to the back of each gearbox.

We include 8 lug nuts, one on each lug bolt to protect the threads from getting damaged and for mounting the wheel on the gearbox when installed.

All gearboxes are filled with lubricant and are ready to be installed when they leave our shop.

A $20.00 Core charge will be added if you do not have a gearbox to exchange.

We ship via Central Freight as we have discounted rates with them.

We pick up & deliver within a 100 mile+/- radius of Amarillo TX for free if the order consists of 5 or more gearboxes, mix or match quantity.
